Information processed
We process the email address used to verify your account, your Takealot seller API key, seller identification and account information, subscription status, and technical authentication records required to provide the service.
We retain limited connection and billing administration metadata, including the AI platform inferred from OAuth callbacks, authorisation and request times, and checkout progress. Monitoring excludes tool arguments and returned seller records.
Purpose and access
We use this information to verify seller ownership, connect your chosen AI client to the Takealot Marketplace API, operate the subscription and protect the service. The connector currently provides read-only access to seller information through the available tools. Responses may include commercially sensitive seller information and are delivered to the AI client you authorise; that client's own privacy terms also apply.
Storage and providers
Seller API keys are encrypted before storage. We use Supabase for account and credential records, Railway for hosting, Stripe for payments, and email delivery infrastructure for verification messages. Stripe handles payment card details; we do not need to store full card numbers.
Retention and your choices
You can delete your stored Takealot API key from the setup page and manage or cancel billing through the Stripe customer portal. Other records may need to be retained for security, accounting or legal purposes. To request access, correction or deletion of personal information, contact accounts@avolaunch.com.
Security
We use encrypted credential storage, authenticated seller sessions and seller-specific access authorisation. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.
