Get your Takealot API key

Open your Takealot Seller Portal to find or generate the API key you'll use to connect your account.

  1. Open Seller API settings using the button below.
  2. In the left navigation, select API Integrations → Seller API if you're not already there.
  3. Scroll down to the Authentication section.
  4. If you already have your API key saved, use that key. If you don't have one, click Generate API key and copy it immediately.

Already have an active key but didn't save it? Takealot only displays API keys when first generated. You must remove the existing key before you can generate another. Removing it will invalidate the old key and may disconnect other services using it.
